Fix Anything Needing Repair

  • Fix anything that’s broken eg. appliances, windows, cabinets, light fixtures/switches, fans, or any bathroom or kitchen fixtures/faucets
  • Examine flooring to determine if replacement is needed
  • Touch up the walls – look for scuffs or dirty fingerprints, fix cracks and freshen paint if needed
  • Look for any loose handles, handrails, hinges, or door knobs
  • Inspect the condition of the roof, gutters, windows, exterior doors, driveway, porch steps, walkways, landscaping, outdoor lighting, or deck
  • Make sure the entry way is clear of any potential pests like wasps, bees, or spiders

  • Declutter throughout
  • Organize countertops, cabinets, and closets
  • Clean your vents and baseboards
  • Check light bulbs and replace as needed
  • Vacuum, mop or sweep floors
  • Take down personal photos or items
  • Clean windows inside
  • Freshen up your entryway
  • Sweep (or shovel and de-ice) patios, decks, and walkways
  • Weather permitting: powerwash outdoor surfaces, clean exterior windows, tidy up the landscaping
